COMPOSE Function In Oracle
COMPOSE is another vital string/char functions of Oracle. It is used to return the UNICODE String for the desired string. The COMPOSE function is supported in the various versions of the Oracle/PLSQL, including, Oracle 12c, Oracle 11g, Oracle 10g and Oracle 9i.
COMPOSE( string )
string: It is used to specify the string, for which the UNICODE string needs to be retrieved.
COMPOSE( I || unistr( '�301' )
The (�301) is a UNICODE String of (´) and so is the result.
COMPOSE( I || unistr( '�300' )
The (�300) is a UNICODE String of (`) and so is the result.
